Help athletes perform at their best
The Problem.
The concept for this project stemmed from a crucial issue that athletes frequently face in their pursuit of optimal performance and health. It became apparent that there is a significant lack of awareness and organization when it comes to supplement intake within the athletic community. Athletes often struggle with remembering when to take specific supplements and may not fully comprehend the potential risks associated with certain products.
Furthermore, the absence of reliable information regarding the health aspects and approvals from esteemed food agencies like the FDA poses a challenge for athletes in selecting the healthiest and most effective products available.
Solution.
Recognizing the importance of addressing this problem, I set out to design a mobile app that would serve as a comprehensive solution. The primary objective was to alleviate the challenges faced by athletes by providing a robust reminder system to ensure they never miss a dose of their essential supplements.
In addition, I aimed to incorporate an educational component within the app, delivering valuable information about the advantages of different supplements and the potential benefits they can bring to athletic performance. A crucial aspect of the app's design was to bring attention to the health aspect by highlighting products that have undergone thorough research and received approvals from reputable food agencies such as the FDA. This would empower athletes to make informed decisions regarding their supplement choices and prioritize their overall well-being.
